At first glance, married couple Randy and Mikki have it all. Randy is a thirty something advertising executive and Mikki is a twenty something business owner. Instead, they guess at what the other is thinking. They both know that their three year old marriage is failing and they don't know how to repair it. Mikki is on the verge of having an affair with Randy's best friend Marcus, because she is strongly attracted to him. When Randy is assigned to Paris for a long term work assignment, this gives Mikki the incentive to embark an affair with Marcus. She knows it's wrong, but at the same time, the affair fulfills a missing piece of her life. However, Mikki feels guilty and she tries to end the affair. She goes to Paris to visit Randy in order to renew her commitment to him. Instead, the visit is a disaster. After the visit, Randy has his own affair in Paris. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It took a few turns that I did not expect. And I found myself thinking about the characters long after I had finished the story. Definitely looking forward to the next one from this author.

This novel gives the account of a couple different viewpoints on their marriage. The big question is whether or not their marriage can survive a long distance relationship when Randy is sent to Paris by the ad agency he works for. This leaves Mikki at home thousands of miles away. She's scared and she's lonely and she needs comforting. Now, add infidelity into the mix, then what happens? Both characters have different viewpoints on what is happening to their marriage, which has been shaky, even before the separation. I think the authors did a great job of getting the reader into the heads of the characters and letting the readers in on the thought process of both characters. Not only are Mikki and Randy interesting characters. They have some good secondary characters with Angelou and Zaria. Mikki's parents have their own interesting story. Altogether these people will keep you interested and wanting to know more in this thought provoking book.

Love Don't Live Here Anymore is great reading; a contemporary love story you can sink your teeth into. The story is told in alternate voices, by a husband who wants to pump life back into his marriage, and by a wife who has other things on her mind besides her husband. Spicy, fun, sexy -- simply put, this novel is a sensational page-turner.
