Dre stood in the hall going over the chart of his next patient. He stopped to collect his thoughts, only to hear a voice coming from the room. It wasn't the conversation that caused him to listen; it was her voice. Not only that, but the dream he had of his deceased wife the previous night pushed forth again. Gathering his professionalism, Dr. Andreas Constatine entered the room. Dre wasn't prepared for the beauty that sat on the exam table. Shaking himself, he repeated the usual rhetoric and began caring for her.
Brenda Cheval felt her heart race once the man she believed to be the doctor entered the room. This man was splendid. But when he touched her, Brenda realized it had been far too long since she felt a man's touch. Her only thought was getting as far away from him before she did something dumb, like kiss him until she got her fill.
Finishing his patient's examination, Dre quickly left the room. He was frazzled, and this was something he never got. Dre realized that he also badly wanted a woman he'd just met. He was trying his best to hide his predicament now.
