Kouji's mother has just remarried, and as a result, he has a brand newfather and two unbelievably beautiful twin brothers. In order to get to know hisnew family better, Kouji transfers to the same private school that his newlyacquired step-brothers attend. But when Kouji finally meets them, the two havecompletely opposite personalities And it seems like one of them is intent onbeing more than brothers
I really liked Love Training. The first story deals with Koji's arrival at his new school and his introduction to his two new brothers by marriage. One of his new brothers starts putting the moves on Koji. One of Jin's moves backfires "dug his own grave." So funny. The second story continues Jin's conquest of Koji. There is explicit sex, but not hard core. The third story involves a character from the first two stories, Oohira who is approached by a student, Makoto, who has admired him from afar, but finally gets up the courage to approach Oohira when he, Makoto, is about to be transferred to a new school. Very sweet. Good sex. I loved the forehead snap and the line, "You've gotta be kidding me! Get up here- now! " Lesson 4 "Spring Training" involves a lovestruck boy whose love interest is just not interested. He'd better watch out for the guy whose always on hand to console him. Lesson 5 involves two boys who are coerced into performing the title roles in Romeo and Juliet. Now, in contrast to the review of SuperLuckyBellOnCat, Lesson 6, Love Lab, the shortest with no love scenes is my favorite. A student who was in love with his teacher was rebuffed when he confessed his love. Well, that student graduated and has now returned to his same school as teacher with one thing in mind. The one line that does it for me, is when the confident new teacher says, "You see... once I OBTAIN you, etc." I truly wish the author had shared with us the seduction. I think it would have been quite a ride. Books that I'd give 5 stars are Black Sun, Future Lovers, Vanilla, the Stepping Stone books to name a few. But I sure liked this one.
So glad I bought this!

I almost didn't get this because it's published by "June" and I prefer hard core yaoi (I feel June is more about the characters evolving and less about the sex). The characters and story line are realistic and don't let the classic love triangle plot turn you off, I thought these characters were unique in that they have real depth especially the seemingly heartless and aloof Oohira-san. All five stories take place in the same school, I had a great time reading all of them except for the last story which left me wanting. After reading this, I think I'll keep an eye on "June" titles from now on less I miss out on a gem like this. Take your time reading this book and give youself a chance to really appreciate the character's personalities, you'll be glad you did. I also recomend: My paranoid Next Door Neighbor Thunderbolt Boys Excite and The Crimson Spell (for those of us that like a little humor with our smut)
