Harold L. Turley II opens a revealing window into the male African American psyche in this captivating first novel about sex, relationships, marriage, and monogamy. Terry, Jeff, and Tyrelle manage a nightclub together, where the three cousins have their pick of any woman they desire. Terry is a former college basketball star married to Tracy--and cheating on her with Angie. But meaningless affairs are starting to leave Terry feeling hollow inside. He decides it's time to clean up his act...only to discover that it's too late. A lifetime player, Jeff has finally realized that he's ready to settle down with his current girlfriend. The problem is, he's feeling guilty about all the times he was unfaithful to her. Clearing his conscience would give him a clean slate, but will it cost him the most important relationship in his life? As for Ty, he's caught between a rock and a hard place: he loves his freedom but at the same time doesn't want to lose his girlfriend. And his lover is about to drop a bombshell that will reverberate across every area of his life. Funny, sensuous, and dead-on target when it comes to the games lovers play, Love's Game tells what happens when the tables are turned and the stakes are raised.
From the first page to end it caught my attention, this new auther Turley II is going to be the next big time auther to hit the best-seller list. It deserves more than 5* but thats all I could give it. You won't be dissapointed.
Cheaters!

In Love's Game, Mr. Turley introduces us to three playas who have never been in a monogamous relationship though they all are in committed relationships. They're dawgs and they're proud of it. They've been caught cheating by their signifant others' at least once and have sworn that they've learned a lesson and will never cheat again. But they continue to cheat on their loving and caring women. Some of these indescretions just don't make sense--Tyrell, Terry, and Jeff often place themselves and their other halves at great risk just for the hell of it. Each Playa is taught a valuable lesson when faced with the possibility of losing the woman he's taken for granted for so long. But it may be too late to regain the necessary trust for a relationship to survive. Kudos to my fellow Strebor author, Harold L. Turley II for giving the reader a glimpse into the heart of a man.
An Intriguing Look Into The Male Psyche

Harold has written a book that really gives us women a look into the minds of some men. Each of the men reminded me of someone I had dated once (unfortunately) or someone friends and relatives have dated. As I read it, I felt like I was sitting in on a private conversation between these three men as I read about what motivated them to cheat and most importantly what made them reevaluate their lives. Of course I didn't like or agree with the deceit that permeated these men's lives, but it's something that happens every day and is real. I must commend Harold for writing such an engaging novel that is funny, sexy and thought provoking. I also loved how the surprise ending threw me.
