This is a nice collection of historical stories of Lumberjacks and Ladies. Some are mysteries with a touch of romance added in. Set in the 1800s, when women were expected to be at home raising a family, these women are taking a chance on lumberjacks.
My husband is a lumberjack, so the book is special to me. He works by himself, for himself, these stories are of lumberjacks who work for logging operations in logging camps, everything is quite interesting.
