Fun Comic Book

Both my 8- and 11-year old boys enjoyed this book. They also enjoyed the 1st and 3rd books in the series. They want me to purchase the next one for them. I didn't realize that this was a comic book until they arrived. I don't mine, but I thought future buyers might like to know this. Otherwise, it is a funny book perfect for boys (although my 11-year-old is a bit too old - he's just reading it b/c my younger son leaves it laying around.)

My six year old loves comic books, but I have a tough time finding comics with subject matter appropriate for his age. This series is super! The illustrations are bright and bold - they really jump off the page. The story is fun and thrilling (but not scary or violent). I can't tell you how amazed I was that he chose to read these books rather than watch TV. I am also happy with the overall message of the series - what makes you different is what makes you special... embrace it! The Loud Boy comics are a terrific series!

My kids loved David Steinberg's earlier books. Now they are enjoying his graphic book series. Their friends each wanted their own copies of this book and the first Daniel Boom aka Loud Boy.
