I am sure there are those out there that are much more capable to analyze and write reviews for books. But coming from a guy who had absolutely NO IDEA about Flash 8, this did it. It went over what I needed to learn in pretty good detail. The only way I can think of improving this book would book be to add a supplemental CD with files to help aid and practice the concepts in the book. This is not really a graphic intensive book. Apart from the occasional comic strip and awesome bullet points, it gives you tons of information. If you are not a reader, grab another version that has screenshots and supplemental CDs. If you just want to learn it straight and get through it as quick as possible, this is the book for you. Good luck!
