Are you living for God's pleasure or for your own? Pleasing God is not a matter of personal choice, but an imperative that must be taken seriously. In a world of self, we must give way to the priority... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Made For His Pleasure is a book on pleasing GOD. Pleasing GOD is not a quick and easy thing it is a lifetime thing. GOD has given us gifts for us to use for HIM and we are to give back to HIM. The Bible says ,"find out what pleases the LORD" (Ephesians 5:10" and to "please HIM in every way." (Colossians 1:10) Isn't that what we all want to do with all our hearts? This book guides us in how to do that - it is a wonderful guiding book. It also does a wonderful thing - it uses Scripture to back up what he has to teach. I received a copy of this book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all of the opinions expressed in this review are all my own.

Concise and Easy to Read

Alistair Begg's preaching and teaching style come through in this book. This book is a must have for a new Christian and a life-long believer alike. More biblically sound than the books about "Purpose" and "Your Best Life" but easier to read than the heady volumes of Spurgeon and Calvin. A must own for traditonal Christians and biblical conservatives.

This is a great heart-felt and heart-warming little book about being a disciple of Jesus Christ. It is easy to read and beneficial for any Christian at any stage of their spiritual walk. I whole-heartedly recommend it.
Great foundational summary!

Begg does an excellent job of focusing the new disciple of Christ on the road and job ahead as well as refocusing and truly maturing the less recent convert to Christ. Begg pulls no punches and speaks the truth boldly.
A great foundations-of-the-faith book

This book is a great foundational manual. Alistair has a way of bringing the truth out in the open and not apologizing for it. This book is appropriate for both veteran Christians, new believers, and those seeking God.
