A great book explaining some of the problems caused by developing operational goals "in the silos" of various departments within a company. The author presents a sophisticated, yet practical approach to optimizing operational results, and overcoming common shortcomings of traditional operational forecasting. Even though I previously had limited exposure to Operations as an HR professional, I found this very interesting and valuable. Highly recommended.
