This book is a treasure of wonderful ideas for gift-making pincushions! The pictures are beautifully done, and instructions are clear. Also, the book itself would be a fine gift for a sewer/crafter on anyone's list!

I never thought I'd rave over a book about pincushions but this book was a delight. Victoriana lovers know that a house cannot be too overcrowded with lacy, satiny, fussy little objects. Pincushions certainly fill that bill. Making Fabulous Pincushions is aptly titled. The abundant, color photographs make your mind race with the possibilities. I never realized how many different types of pincushions abounded. While those included in this book were strongly ornamental, they could definitely be used if you so wish as functional pincushions. There is something for every level of crafting ability and instructions are clear. Definitely a must have for the libraries of crafters and Victoriana lovers.
