This is such a cute little story of *exactly* how children can act (or react) when something doesn't go their way...and how they always need their parents (no matter how angry or upset they might get at times). It's a simple, very well written book which has become part of the bedtime routine with our five year old son.

This book is a great bedtime (or anytime) book for moms to read to their kids. I think all children can relate to not wanting to stop playing to go to bed. The mother fox is patient and loving in her insistence that they settle down for the night. The illustrations are so cute, my 3 year old daughter keeps petting the baby fox.
