Baseball & Romance--A Sure Winner

(NOTE: I'd like to give this 4 1/2 stars, but the system doesn't allow it.) Lisa Ruff has brought together two of my all-time favorites, baseball and a love story. The match-up in her debut book features pitcher Jarrett Corliss, returning to the game after shoulder surgery vs. ad exec Samantha James, whose job it is to bring the fans back to the game (so the owner doesn't sell/move the team) while at the same time keeping the players' names out of scandal. Good luck with that! When she challenges him to win her, more than baseball is on the line. Ruff creates a fun environment that will bring me back again. This is a new Harlequin American Romance author to watch.
