Author Michelle Armstrong figured out how to turn her life around when she was suffering from an unsatisfying career, depression, and, $60,000 in debt. She reveals her life-changing insights in Manage Your Mind, Master Your Life, a self-help guide to acquiring and applying the proper mindset for self-improvement. The core of Manage Your Mind, Master Your Life teaches the reader the seven success practices of the Mind Management Success System: intend your outcome, mind your values, change your thinking, modify your language, align your beliefs, manage your emotions, and direct your focus. "Have you ever heard the phrase, 'You are what you eat?' Actually, you are what you think. If a person continuously thinks that they are clumsy or forgetful, chances are they probably will be. It is like the old adage, if you think you can, you can; if you think you can't, you can't. Your thinking determines your reality. What you ultimately get in life depends on what you continually think about." Highly recommended as a primer for goal-setting and self-improvement in any field.
