I highly recommend this book for ANY nurse in the ER. I'm studying for my CEN, and this is the best resource book I've found so far! A lot of pictures, easy to understand, and it covers EVERY emergency medicine topic!! One tip for studying for CEN: Do not waste time with Q & A books until you have solidified your knowledge base- using a comprehensive book like Sheehy's!!! Once you have the knowledge, then go ahead an do questions!

The sheer amount of content covered in this text is incredible. It's the most comprehensive and concise single source of emergency nursing material. It even has sections on communicating for inter/intraagency transfers. Very helpful. It even arrived early.
