One of my favorite authors... this series is amazing!

I have not read any of Francine River's older books, but have read almost all of her newer books. They would probably be listed under Inspirational Fiction or Faith based. The detail in these books really pulls you in. The sacrifices made humble me. And, she knows how to really make you feel the attraction of the characters without cheapening it. Her characters have substance. Her books aren't your typical cheesy "Christian Fiction" where everything is so perfect and the characters too. It's real, raw and pulls you in.
