Great until the 3rd book

The first 2 books had me on edge. Then I read the 3rd and the main character changes entirely. She becomes "involved" with different men and it's very detailed. I think the author gave up after the 2nd book and let someone else write. It changes way too much. The main character turns into the girl that was her enemy. It's not worth buying the rest of the series. But the first 2, I really like.
