Witty, heartfelt, scriptural and bonding

This book was the focal point of our marriage guidance counselling once my husband and I were engaged. It was incredible and amazingly effective, like no other book on the market;deliberately avoiding the "serious, guilt-hammering, rule-bashing" tone that some Christian books on marriage take.It covers real every day topics without the condescending, 'commercialist counselling' tone, such as Parents & In-Laws, Resolving Conflict, The Art of Communication, Forgiveness and Love In Action. I would highly recommend this to anyone preparing for marriage or who is already married and want to do better.

I and my wife started this book when we were engaged with 5 other couples. It is down to earth and proved to have some useful tips. It is definitely good for discussion and my spouse has recommended it to other engaged family members and friends. It is definitely from a Christian perspective, but has topics for people of all faiths/no faith (communication, handling in-laws, etc...)
