Do you ever wonder if your man is really committed to you? Or if he ever will be? Are you curious about his thoughts on marriage but afraid he will never share them? Would you like to tell him that he's "the one" for you but don't know how? Do you worry he won't have time for the career he wants and you? You no longer have to guess, wonder, or worry. Marry Me reveals how men think about commitment, the fears that keep them cautious, the signs that show they are serious about a relationship, and the steps you should take to get Mr. Right down the aisle.

In the runaway bestseller What Men Want, women got the straight talk about the dating game from three young, attractive, successful professional men. Now, the authors answer the number-one question that their readers asked them: "How do I get my guy to commit?" In Marry Me , Brad, the married lawyer, Rich, the engaged doctor, and Chris, the single accountant, give women a step-by-step look at the road to commitment -- moving from the first date to the proposal stage to the wedding preparations. Marry Me tackles one of the most overlooked issues influencing a man's decision to stay -- his career, perhaps the most important factor when it comes to marriage. This book offers invaluable advice on getting men to commit, regardless of what career stage they are in.

Here are just a few of the secrets readers will learn in the pages of Marry Me

Every single women should read this if you want to get married

I read the earlier book about what every woman should know. I thought it was great, insightful, and my male paralegal said that the authors should be kicked for letting out so many male secrets. So, the first book was helpful, and after dating the same guy for over a year and me getting older I bought this one. I'm engaged now.

Amazing

If i only have read this bok before.. amazing reading ... gives you all the information you need to be successfull girlfriend/fiancee/wife. Its worth every penny

Fascinating Insight,

I picked up this book used (even though I'm already married) and read it from cover to cover. It was entertaining and described a world of dream dates, diamond rings and weddings-- I liked the real life stories. If I'd read it ten years ago I might have agreed with the readers who found it insulting but hey-- looking back, you know, I think they have their generalizations right on!Don't you always wonder what to reveal, what not to reveal about your past-- they spell it out and it's not such bad advice. I liked the chart that dictated how many lovers you can't admit to, based on your age. Face it, all girls are looking for an edge and if you KNEW certain tactics would work, you'd use them. I say give it a try or at least read the book and keep the advice in the back of your mind. But as the guys point out, a decent relationship takes about three years and that's a huge investment of time-- so get busy! OH and they give you some advice on how to tell, after the first year, whether the guy sees you as marriage material -- furthermore, if he doesn't at that point, HE NEVER WILL,move on. So true, so true, I heard it before and didn't believe it, I stayed-- AND THEN MADE THE SAME MISTAKE WITH THE NEXT GUY! wish I hadn't done that! I bought three copies of this used off the internet to give to my daughter and stepdaughters all twenty-something liberated females who will scoff I'm sure but every girl should read this book, if for no other reason than it really does give you a peek at what men are thinking about relationships but will never tell you.

Almost perfect

This is an excellent book and I wish I had found it sooner. I hope I have not found it too late. I have made the exact same mistakes pointed out in the book, as a woman, and surely, it set back the relationship of my life. Many of the observations all three authors point out are true in my experience. First of all, women have to keep an open mind when reading this book, otherwise their female egos will just get in the way of seeing the wisdom in the book. Many of the chapters are excellent. But some of them are may not be relevant to all readers. Excellent chapters include those with insights on men and how they prioritise their careers, as well as the different stages of their careers and how it affects their relationships with women. Also, the chapters on "Casual dating to monogamy" in which it discusses a man's view on commitment and also "How to get Mr Right to pop the question" are also priceless. However, there are some chapters that may not culturally relevant to some. The chapter on "Sex and the committed relationship" is totally irrelevant to some cultures, where having sex with say, three men by the age of 35 would blow all your chances of getting married at all! The chapter on "Moving In" is also irrelevant to some cultures which find the practice unacceptable. I assume this book was written for largely American women. With all its good points (and a few irrelevant chapters for me), women don't need to get all worked up and defensive about this book. After all, it's just a guideline..but one which could save a lot of relationships.

For Yuppies, it's a 5 Star!

For attractive young women looking to "catch" a young, successful, professional, semi-decent looking guy, this is your book. The 3 authors pooled their insights and share a 30 year old male perspective on commitment, living together, getting engaged and the like. Their strength is telling about their world, but it's a world that not everyone lives in. I think they have a pretty good handle on "hooking" a guy emotionally and physically....being careful not to scare him away, but there is a spiritual quality of love that is being missed. That type of understanding would not be expected from these guys based their age and background. But hey, it's a decent read, great title and I'm sure they'll sell a lot of books. But I hope they did not assume that this was a book for meant for non-Yuppies because it's not. And if that was the case, I'd have to lower my rating.
