Steve and his friend Max use their time machine to return to the richest, roughest boom town in the old Wild West where they pursue Gentleman John Hooten, the Rhyming Robber of the Rockies. This description may be from another edition of this product.
Steve and his sidekick Max land in central Arizona (in 1882) in the body of a famous actor and his friend newspaperman. The adventures of the next two days are both hilarious and, well, funny. Steve, while sitting in a barber's chair, happens to comment on the HUGE tumbleweed outside the window. Unfortunatly, the town's gunslinger happens to be in the same room. His knickname? The Tumbleweed Kid! OOOOOOPS!
Excellent book!

This book is fabulous! Humorous, adventurous . . . it's been a good ten years since I first read it and it still makes me smile. Pick it up --- you'll never forget it! Gery Greer and Bob Ruddick never cease to impress me!
