I bought this book for my daughter who has just turned 11 and is interested in learning to play the harmonica. The songs are a mixture of old reliables and newer hits. Each song has the tune and chords included as well as a tablature for harmonica which makes it possible to not only sing along but accompany on the guitar. The only problem I found was that some of the songs were written for harmonicas tuned to keys other than C. Most beginners will only have a C harmonica, and will find that to try and play in other keys is difficult. Add to that, some of the songs written in C are high (which probably cannot be helped), and will be hard to play for someone just starting. Still, this is a great campfire song book for those who just want to have fun.
