What impressed me about this book was its usability. Most "self help" books drone on and on with pseudo psychological mantras and "spiritualisms" that dry one's fingers as they turn the pages, this "how to" book on the other hand, offers some genuine insights based on a scientific foundation. In addition, the book is filled with real life relationship dilemmas and uses real life dialogue. One can easily recall his or her own voice and that of his or her mate when a problem has arisen in their relationship that could not be addressed. The Brock Method is clearly laid out with excellent supportive examples and a cogent summary that ties up the technique in the last chapter. I would highly recommend this book for both those who need to rebuild as well as those who desire to fine tune their relationship. Plus, it was fun to read!

This is a good book for anyone seeking a better relationship with the opposite sex. The authors have done their research and report it in easy to read format. I got specific tips that I put into practice with my husband the very next day. This book is now my bedside reading.
