MERMAID BEACH is filled with heart and soul, because Sheila obviously put her Heart and Soul into this one! Three generations, plus one, make up a hometown band, called The Mermaids. The band is in danger of breaking up when the youngest member's best friend, Gina, heads to Nashville and attempts to lure Averil along with her. Nashville lures all musicians at one time or another, doesn't it? Nashville holds promises for many, but secrets too. Can Bonnie save Averil from the secret heartache that almost destroyed her? Will this trio survive the drama of the Nashville scene, or will the lure of the sea keep them in their small town forever? Will they find their true loves, or will their hearts be shattered by secrets? This is a complex story, with a simple idea, "Love Conquers All." Loretta ("Glamma"), Bonnie and Averil are there for each other, "no matter what." This tale (pun intended) will keep you turning pages and wishing for more of the Moonlight Harbor books! Since this is the 7th of 7, I'll have to satisfy myself with going back to #1 and starting all over again.
