An interesting intro to microbiology. No labwork, but basic coverage of the microscopic organisms found in nature. Their role in industry, foods, agriculture, medicine is covered, but not in great depth. This book is perfect for the nonscience major or anyone who likes science but can't spend a great deal of time in a class.

I received the book before the arrival date which was just in time for my class. The book itself is really great. I recommend the seller and the book.
