He was a predator... and I loved to watch him stalk his prey.
The first time I saw Elijah Kingston was through a computer screen.
Night after night, I watched him shed his counterfeit smiles and falsely perfect persona. Gone was the family man everyone thought him to be and in his place was one of the deadliest assassins the mafia has ever seen.
It was my job to conceal his violence-to frame others for his crimes and ensure he never got caught.
Elijah never required my assistance but I watched him, anyway.
Obsessively.
Endlessly.
I spent hours tracking each of his movements, learning everything there was to know about him. My fixation was manic, and though we were always miles away, I knew the first time his face filled my screen that he belonged to me.
Elijah was my Daddy...
...he just didn't know it yet.
Midnight is an MM romance with morally ambiguous characters and a guaranteed HEA. This story features dark scenes, needless violence, steamy moments, cyber stalking, and an assassin daddy.
I found my first Daisy Dalrymple at a bookstore in Thailand. I was desperate for something to read in English and just grabbed it and boy, was I glad. Well, that was many books ago and I now have the whole series. Carola Dunn deals with the changes in the aristocracy in England had to make after WWI, while telling you a good tale and this one is no different. Now I wait with baited breath for her next Daisy Dalrymple book...

I have loved every one of the Daisy Dalyrymple series and this one is no exception. Daisy goes to her old roommate Lucy Fotheringay's wedding and stumbles into more trouble. Her husband, CID Alec Fletcher, is around to help her out. This series is delightfully cozy and set in the twenties it doesn't have the language or graphic gore so many mysteries do. This is a light breezy read that will keep you entertained.
