LONELY MEN IN HARD LUCK, ALASKA, LOOKING FOR WOMEN. OUR TOWN MIGHT BE COLD, BUT OUR HEARTS ARE WARM Location: north of the Arctic Circle. Population: 150 (mostly men ). But the three O'Halloran brothers, who run a bush-plane charter service called Midnight Sons, are heading a campaign to bring women to town. Brides for Brothers Sawyer O'Halloran, the middle brother, isn't entirely in favor of this scheme. But he considers himself immune to any woman--even the lovely Abbey Sutherland. She's arriving in Alaska within days. However, there's a complication...or two. She hasn't told them she's arriving with kids The Marriage Risk Like his brothers, Charles O'Halloran has a distrust of marriage in general--and of anyone related to Catherine Harmon Fletcher in particular. She's the woman who tried to destroy his parents' marriage. Too bad Lanni Caldwell, the only woman he's ever really fallen for, is Catherine's granddaughter...
I am a huge Debbie Macomber fan, and have read almost all of her books. I must say that I am pleased I haven't read them all as it gives me a sense of anticipation that another book awaits. Midnight Sons: Brides for the Brothers follows Macombers theme, they meet, an on again off again relationship follows and then the magical ending. Debbie Macomber's books are a delightful, relaxing read that you just can't put down once you start into the adventures of the characters.
Two delightful stories from Alaska

These two stories about lonely bush pilots in a small town near the Arctic Circle are totally charming. The escapades in these stories are truly hilarious. Ms. Macomber has the ability to imbue her characters with such personality the reader feels she knows them personally. The fact these stories take place in Alaska is a plus. Ms. Macomber knows how to describe the magnificence, vastness, and small-town friendliness perfectly. Also highly recommend ARROWS THROUGH TIME: A Time Travel Tale of Adventure, Courage, and Faith.

This is right up there are one of Debbie Macomber's best books. Well written, as usual, and holds the readers attention right to the last page.
Delightful!

Heartwarming stories about how brothers who lived in a very remote area of Alaska find their love with women form the "lower forty-eight" by offering them a job and a home. I just can't wait to read the next Mid-night Sons Story.
Alaska and MacOmber are a good combination

This book is a compilation of three of the books that introduced this series. The stories are typical MacOmber--people of interest, a little complex but people we would enjoy knowing. And guess what, they aren't rich. The portrayal of Alaska is vivid. An enjoyable read.
