In "It Was Me, Mom!" Miko, the delightful little mouse imported direct from Germany is playing ball inside with his friend, stuffed toy Mimiki. Miko was told not to play inside, but he does anyone and he ends up breaking his Mom's favorite vase. Miko has to decide what he's going to say to his Mom. What will he say? And if he does confess, what will we do to make it to her? This is a great story about taking responsibility for problems. Miko the mouse could represent just about any kid. The pastel-like illustrations are charming and the text fits the story.
