After Miko's exciting day, the last thing he wants to do is wash away all the fun things he did! Mom says he doesn't have to take a bath-but then he will have to endure tickly clothes, sticky ice cream on his face, and sleeping on the hard floor! How far will Miko go to remember his special day? Another charming adventure that children will want to hear again and again.
"Miko: No Bath! No Way!" is a charming English adapation of a story orignally published in Japan under the title "MIKO Waschen? NEIN!" In this story, Miko the mouse comes in after a fun day of playing. He's rather dirty and his mother says that he needs a bath. But while she fills up the tub, he goes off and hides. She manages to lure him out with his favorite dinner and learns that he doesn't want to take a bath (NO BATH! NO WAY!) because the things he has on him, such as silver sand on his arms reflect things that happened during his special day. Miko tries to get to sleep without a bath, but then later he has a great idea. The illustrations are full-page and generally nice. Miko and his Mom are the only two characters in the book, although I imagine there are probably more in some of the others.
