This OFFICIAL U.S. Army Field Manual 3-39 contains information on the doctrine of Military Police procedure and training. The information herein contains corollary information that may be applied to a civilian police officer role. There is also information that may be applied to law enforcement, private security, or civilian law enforcement during a situation of riot, civil disturbance, or natural disaster. The foundations of military police operations are based on the successful employment of military police Soldiers, past and present.
