My nine year old son and seven year old daughter love this book. The story line is simple, sweet, and funny. They loved that Minerva was consistently wrong about her Christmas assumptions! I loved the cute illustrations. I will definitely continue to buy more Minerva books.

My first grade students love Minerva Louise. They laugh out loud at her funny names for everyday things. This is one more in her list of fun reads!
Wonderful new Minerva Louise adventure

Goats on a snowy rooftop wearing their fanciest horns? And what's the farmer doing up there, wearing a bright red hat? It's so good to see Minerva Louise back in a Christmas adventure - I can't wait to read this to my nephew who will love being one step ahead of this kindly but confused hen as she explores a house on Christmas Eve. Wonderful illustrations too - I think my favorite is Santa's hat disappearing down the chimney!
