This is a business book like no other I have read. Clare Harris starts off by explaining how powerful the mind-body connection really is. She further delves into how much your work environment effects your mind-body connection. All the stress we are put under in daily and long term work situations does effect our health. The author helps you pinpoint exactly where in your work life you are experiencing the most stressors. One you have analyzed what is causing your stress, she gives very realistic exercises and advice for minimizing and/or eliminating the the level of stress in those areas. She offers many healthier approaches. Some areas she covers are more effective communication skills, physical exercises that will make you feel better (offering both quick and long term relief), better time management, dealing with difficult co-workers, decision making skills, tackling clutter, and making sure your personal life is not left in the dust. While it is particularly helpful for people in management positions, I feel almost anyone would benefit from this book. I will never lend this book out as it is one I feel to be a very valuable resource that I plan on referring back to again and again.
