This contemporary collection of intimate poems were written by New York State American poet, Steve Schuman. Steve, was a longtime resident and friend to many who lived, or just came and went from Fredonia and Dunkirk, New York. For all his life he was an avid student of History who read all he could relating to the subject. He was also an avid student who annually enrolled as an auditing student to attend all the classes offered by the History Department at Fredonia University. Steve Schuman is known as the legendary "Mister Steve", who was an inspiration to so many people who knew him or knew of him over his 32 successful fully sober years, while being a highly active admired, appreciated, and respected participant in AA. His heartfelt testimony was and still is epic, encouraging, and inspiring to others throughout Western New York State. Steve Schuman quietly passed away in Roswell Cancer Institute after succumbing to a quickly overtaking lung cancer in 2017 on Valentine's Day. Steve was sixty-four years old, and a truly wonderful poet. He is always missed by those who loved him.
