Mistletoe Bay

I loved this book!!! It was a perfect addition to the Misty Harbour Series. I thought Cooper and Jenni have wonderful chemistry, and Jenni's three boys are a riot. I hope Mrs. Evanick keeps the series going. Im really looking foward to her next book.

I picked this book up off a "freebie" rack at the local library because of the words "magical Christmas." I am a big "magical" anything fan! Coop was the local UPS man who met the young children before the widowed mom first by having to dodge the "ghost and alien" (just before Halloween) on their driveway. You instantly begin getting introduced to Tucker the four year old, who is almost the star of the story! Coop is constantly in the right place at the right time to rescue Jenni (the widow) from her son's antics. Jenni is running a successful home business with the help of her late husband's mom and sister-in-law, a very tempermental 17 year old. Not only does Jenni find romance, but so does her pre-menopausal mother-in-law. The story is well written and very humorous. She will have you laughing at points so hard you will have tears in your eyes. Especially if you have children!! This was my first book by her and I hope she captures the humor in all her books. I look forward to reading more of her series to find out. If you want a truly good laugh, this is the book. There are places where life is normal, but I am a widow myself. I met the perfect man when I had three kids, two very small. She captured that feeling and the emotions a widow goes through very well!

can't wait till the next book set in Misty Harbor. I LOVE the people in this town, wish they were my real neighbor.
