I bought this book at the gun store when I bought my first gun (Remington 870). This was the only shotgun book the store had (handguns far outweighed shotguns at this store, after all, I'm currently living in Southern California.) I love the writing style, the man breaks it down it an easy-to-understand way. It's like having a good friend or uncle explaining it to you. If you're a novice or a pro you should be able to get something from this book. Dave Henderson has a way of putting technical subjects into an easy to understand format. He has to be one of the countries formost experts in shotgunning. I also read his book "Shotgunning for Deer", it was the best book I've ever read on the subject.
