The pictures are very nicely done - they do evoke the true space of the rolling landscape. The story is brief and not very involved, but it does give a nice view into the nomadic lifestyle. It is an accurate portrayal of Mongolian countryside life. It's a nice book to read to kids, and has very nice pictures for them to look at as you read.
