Henderson has written a wonderful book about the lives of pioneer women. I was amazed at how similar the pioneer women were with the women of today. They were strong, independent, and free thinking. Not only were Henderson's stories entertaining, but she created wonderful settings with interesting historical facts. The added information made the reader emphasize with the pioneers. I'd highly recommend this book.
