This dictionary goes along nicely with the book and is great for dragging along to school due to it's smaller size. However, the CD that comes with the book goes along better with the chapters and is a valuable resource. So, all in all, it's great for traveling around with, but if you're at home with a PC or have a laptop, I'd recommend just using the CD and online medical dictionaries instead of spending the money for this.
Extremely Informative

Mosby's Pocket Dictionary is right on! Totally current with today's definitions. I am starting a nursing career at age 47 and it has helped me in so many areas with schooling as well as in personal research. Excellent resource material.

I'm completing my studies in nursing and had this dictionary for the majority of my studies. It's very concise and simple to understand, however not quite "pocket" size. In any case I never leave home without it...even my tutors love using it. Would recommend to any nursing student a must have investment from student to RN and beyond!
Love It

As a studying MT student, I find this dictionary to be extremely useful and am very glad I purchased it. It covers just about everything that the text books do not explain because they assume you already know what it means. Great tool for anyone with a limited background in medical vocabulary.
