Introducing Japanese culture to my 4 yr old

Good story to introduce young children (4 and older) to a taste of Japan's culture without boring them. They even introduced a few Japanese words, only problem is I wish that they had put the pronunciations in the back of the book. It was definately more modern than other books that I have found in my local library concerning Japan.
