David Preston has been fascinated by motorcycles since he was given a ride at the age of 15 - over 50 years ago. After a first career as an English teacher, he moved on to a position he created involving motorcycle dealership media, events management, advertising, customer relationships, rides, and trips, events announcing, and the creation of newsletters, e-mails, and technical papers.Along the way he published Motorcycle 101, a common sense guide to motorcycling. Motorcycle 201 is an updated and improved version, meant for those new to motorcycling or returning after a decade or two away. David has hosted a call-in radio show, done announcing at several venues for both car and motorcycle races, emceed motorsports events and charity auctions, and has ridden and kept notes on the over 500 motorcycles he has ridden. Now semi-retired, he creates fiction and non-fiction books and novels, all available from Amazon as e-readers. There are currently 6 of them. He is working on the 7th when not out having adventures on his Triumph Speed Triple.
