A wonderful sweet story, enchantingly illustrated

This is just about the favorite book of my grandson Ian. He loves animals, and Mr Chips depicts an especially tender and true bond between a dog and its child owner and friend. The illustrations give further details of the story, making for a rich interplay of images and words. Okay, it's not just Ian who loves this book. I do too
