my daughter is 2 and a half right now and we rented this book from the library... we had to renew it because she loved it so much! we read it several times a day while we had it and my husband had to take it back during her nap time so that she wouldn't see. when she woke up she was so sad that "mucky duck had to go back to her home." we haven't had it in weeks and she STILL talks about it. that's why i'm here looking to buy it. great kid's book and very short so it's ok if you read "just one more book."
My Daughter's Favorite Book!

This has been my daughter's favorite book since she was 2 and a half. We read it several times a day. The book is about a little boy who owns a duck, and what they get up to each day. It tells of different things that they like to do that also leeds to them getting into a mess. There is a page on cooking, painting, playing ball and digging in the garden. All of these invole Mucky Duck getting Dirty and at the end she has to have a bath. Great if your child is not thrilled with bathtime!
