I polished off this mystery in the course of one rainy afternoon -- not because it wasn't good, but because it was suitably intriguing. I like Margaret Barlow, the protagonist and Jessica-Fletcher-like widow who's trying to figure out exactly what is happening on her island home. The plot was intricate enough that I couldn't identify the "villain" until just before the climax, and that's the mark of a good mystery. I look forward to reading Osborn's two sequels to this book.
