I bought this book when I saw it on a U.K. education site. I was homeschooling my 9 year old at the time and hoped it might have some fun and different ways to approach different math concepts. And it did! It brings math problems to live in a humorous method but teaches the concept in a way that is difficult to forget. Thumbs up!
Great Math Knowledge for Kids
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 23 years ago
Bought this in England this winter and have been reading it with my kids. This is a great way of making kids like Math. It not only makes Math funny but it also provides some nice tips for learning Math. Also removes the Hurdle that Math is difficult. Infact there are more books to this series and I have read a couple of them. A nice concept to make fun of something that seems difficult - so it appears easy. The only gotcha is that it might be gross in some details. But a must read.
