I left school prematurely, without a School-leaving Certificate and worked in a bank and for an office machine company, before I opened a printing business, which became the largest company of its kind in the country, against huge international competition. I then contracted Parkinson's disease and the company was soon taken over in a hostile fashion and I was left, a complete wreck. After ten years I managed to pull myself together and became the first person, I know of, who has been able to overcome the Parkinson's movement symptoms and live a 'Normal' life again, Pd medication-free by 2002.
