I will definately be purchasing other "my first" books after ordering this one for my 7 month old nephew. I plan on giving it to him in his halloween bag and I'm sure he will keep busy looking at all the colorful pictures . I also like how it has fun ideas for parents such as on the page with halloween food it shows pizza slices cut out like skulls - very cute!

This is a great book for introducing Halloween to babies and toddlers. The pictures are colorful fun and festive and have lots of objects pertaining to Halloween. There are actualy a couple of the same book with different covers published. I accidentaly bought two of the same book thinking it was a different book because of the different cover. The older copies have one that is just like this one with a purple back gound. The other has Halloween icons all over the front and a orange background. Same title though. Great book!!!!

This book isn't substantive, but that's okay, it doesn't claim to be. If you've got a little person in the house who is too wiggly to listen to an entire story, this is a great little book of Halloween icons they can use to boost their vocabulary and get a better grasp on a fun holiday.
