Really great for a beginner

I ordered this book looking for a "textbook" for my beginners sewing classes. I was pleasantly surprised! The information in the beginning of the book is a great overview of what I cover in class and the projects are simple and attractive (except for the draft dog - CA weather doesn't really call for them). I will definitely recommend this book to beginning young students.
