Helena Douglas and her friend Cora are two single, Christian women looking for love. Having recently ended her first marriage with her pastor husband, Helena struggles to deal with the consequences of her divorce. Cora continues to search for love despite her less-than-successful past with men. She has four children-all from different men-and struggles to overcome her difficult childhood.
Cora quickly comes to the realization that Christ is the door to her true happiness; but Helena falls deeper and deeper into a world of lust, deceit, and spiritual depravity. She is pulled between two men who long to possess her for different reasons. It is only when Helena is forced to decide between the man she loves and her unborn child that she turns back to God.
