I loved this book. I read it in my book club and it was such a great read.
Couldn't put it down

From the first chapter, which is only about 7 pages, I was hooked. Though some of the twists and turns in the plot were a bit predictable in my opinion, there were so many of them that some were bound to catch me by surprise (like the end of the first chapter). Relevant backstory was scattered throughout. However, the story progressed quickly enough that I didn't want to put it down. This was a perfect mix of action and character development for me. I would rate this one 5 stars except that I felt the ending did not address one important question. That omission is my only complaint.

Loved this book. I originally enjoyed it as an audio book and then had to read it.
It’s hard to find a book that you can’t see the end coming a mile away but this one definitely caught me by surprise.
Maybe it could have been a little better written, but, all-in-all wonderfully wicked.

From what I've seen this is the unpopular opinion, but it just didn't go as far as I wanted it to. I love the concept and the writing style overall, and a lot of people seem to really, really love this more than me. So definitely worth a read.
