For one little girl and her mother, cooking together is a joy. Especially since they choose to cook foods from many different parts of the world. Although they love to be in the kitchen together, they both know that their love for each other far surpasses these delightful treats. Together they make sushi, biscotti, houska, canja, couscous, megadarra, smorgastarta, crepes, jambalaya, and samosas. This is a great bedtime story to introduce children to new foods from around the world. Hopefully, once they see the colorful illustrations and hear some of the ingredients of these new foods, they might even want to try them! Well, we can only hope.
