In her dreams, she is Kayleigh again. She and her twin sister Morna are happy and carefree at Mhor Castle in the Scottish Highlands. Erased from her memory is the terrible day Morna was murdered and Kayleigh barely escaped with her own life. Now, she is Kestrel, a pickpocket in New Orleans--and still running from danger when she meets St. Bride Ferringer, a man driven by revenge. He could be the salvation she seeks--or the most treacherous enemy of all. A Rita Award nominee.
Megan McKinney's My Wicked Enchantress is a book I couldn't put down. The story is so wonderfully realistic that you feel like you are living it. McKinney takes the Reader through a journey of enchantment from Mhor Castle of the Highlands to New Orleans and back again. As the heroine runs away from home in order to save her life she has to change her name and begin leaving as a pick pocket in hopes that the one who want to kill her will not go so fas as to look for her on the streets of New Orleans. The Hero on the other hand, goes there to have his vengence from his enemp. As fate brings them together, they must decide eachothers fate and trust eachother to be able to have a peacefull life. Is the Hero her enemy or is he the only one who can help heal the pain of her past life??? I loved the story of this book. The characters were captivating and the plot was a thrill.
My favorite McKinney book, so far!

This book was so good I stayed up well into the night and woke early, just to finish it. Loved the spunky heroine, and the hero was just yummy. The sultry heat of New Orleans that McKinney used so masterfully added to the novel's allure. In fact, although my favorite romance setting is the British Isles, after reading this I want to explore other romance novels framed in this setting.

I would have to say it was wonderful! It's one of my most favorite books. It caught my eye the minute I saw it. I couldn't put the book down until I finished it and I read it again and again. Author Meagan McKinney wrote such a wonderful and compelling story. The story and characters were very believable and there were some part that made me cry. It made you feel like you were there, there is no words to describe it. The heroine wasn't meek like many other typical romance novels. This book had romance, mystery, and humor. This book is a keeper!
Another excellent book by Meagan McKinney!

Just when you think you can't take it anymore, Meagan McKinney gives you the fairy tale ending you're hoping for. This is another excellent book with a sexy, erotic hero and a beautiful, bewitching heroine. McKinney's descriptions make you feel like you are actually there. The time period is hoop skirts in the south. McKinney loves to make the couples hate each other so much that they cross the line to extreme love and lust. You can't put this book down until you find out what happens! You have to love this book.
