Great Travelogue

"Mystical" is a wonderful journey through Britian and Ireland as the book recounts ancient places. It gives the reader an excellent concept of just where these places are located. The book also discusses what is known, which often isn't much, about these places. My one criticism is that some of the places don't have pictures with the description making it hard to imagine just what the place is like. The author also often descends in his description to lecturing about not vandalizing the site. Excellent commentary but lecture after lecture and it gets old. Still, if you want to learn more about ancient Britain and Ireland this is an excellent book. I was amazed at how many sites they have. The book also gives you the folklore of the countries which adds to the enchantment.
